Aww this place. I've been here a few too many times after work, evening and brunch with coworkers friends and family.
The place is big has two floors and the back yard. The decor is nice nothing fancy about it. There's a lot of big TVs for sports.
The food and the prices is good. They have lunch specials every day and the prices and options is great.
They also have happy hour and it's awesome.
The only thing I can say is that depending on the day you go you can have great service, shitty service, or mediocre service with the waitress.
This needs to change because there's been times where we only see our waitress when we sit down and then maybe 45 minutes after or to bring the bill if that!
Now you have times where the waitress is being attentive and actually on point.

I have always seen stories on how good the food was here. I was happy to come by. Too bad I didn't experience this great service last Sunday. I made a reservation for 4 people at 3pm. One more joined us, they were quick to accommodate us. So now there's a total of 5 people.

We sat at the high tables facing the bar. The server came to us pretty quick. So I assumed the service was good. We all order fairly quickly. With the meals, were given a choice of a salad or soup as an appetizer. The soup they had that day was chicken soup. I had a salad, I also ordered salmon with a side of potatoes, and It also comes with a salad.

After our appetizers, we notice the food was taking awhile to come. Finally after maybe an hour, 3 plates arrive. Now we had to wait for 2 more. The 2 came maybe 5 minutes later. The food was barley warm. It was cold in two minutes. The salad had no dressing. It was so dry.

I have to say, I dislike giving bad reviews. I just give honest ones.

I believe the service was okay. I think the communication with the front of the house doesn't correlate well with the back of the house. There's room for improvement.

After mentioning to the server our food was cold, but we are hungry we'll still eat it. He told us the manager is giving us a discount. So when we received our bill, we noticed a meal was taken off.

It would be nice if the manager came over to check on each table and ensure great service.

    Update:
Just stopped by to speak with a manager about what happened yesterday as we were never confronted by one or our server to make sure my boyfriend wasn't dying. He did have a bad reaction, his airways started to burn and his neck began to become irritated. But anyways, I stopped by and spoke with Esmerlin. He assured me he tried to take care of the situation once he was notified. He asked the kitchen to send us a new Mac and cheese with no lobster (we never got it, the server Jorge probably ate it) and that Jorge has been suspended. He invited us back, offered us a 20% discount and a different server during the our next visit. I appreciate his efforts and will update the review the next time we choose to try this place out again. I hope what happened yesterday isn't a reflection of the restaurants standards, but we will see! Lol

I was given lobster Mac when I asked for regular Mac I did not specify I'm allergic to shell fish, I'm very itchy now. Then when I call the waiter he decided to try and argue with me telling me I ordered it when I specifically told him I only want regular Mac he made no indication what's so ever that they only serv lobster Mac and he never gave me his name so the guy working the patio August 5th with glasses really sucks as a waiter beware

Been coming on/off here since they opened. Over the years the customer service and quality has decreased. They have taken on the typical uptown establishment approach with not really caring too much about customer service and just tryna get your money in/out which is very aggravating. Nonetheless they have been consistent with their daily specials and daily HH specials offered. Very big size which allows room for events. The lower level has a lounge type vibe which is cool. The crowd is usually 20-40s. Good music variation. security can be 50/50 with their mood.

I visited Inwood Bar and Grill around 4 pm on a Saturday. Inwood has an extremely aggressive happy hour - offering shots for as little as $1 and 3 for 1 cocktails (only an individual can purchase, cannot be split amongst 2+ people). Given these deals, it was quite crowded.

Service was slow. It took at least 15 minutes for anyone to take our order. We ordered draft beers and it took nearly 10 minutes to arrive at our table. The only thing that was fast was them taking our payment for our check.

The gem of Inwood is the patio. It is very spacious. Unfortunately there was a private event in the downstairs large patio and were unable to explore. We did however, get to sit in the upstairs patio.

Overall, nice patio but slow service and average drink selection. Expect slow service during happy hour due to the magnitude of the deals.
